Good for the money
I have confidence in the Shangri-la chain. This hotel did not disappoint, but it is more on the "no-frill" side, rather than the "luxury" side. But everything you need is in the hotel, and I don’t have any issue with the staff or facilities. My option came with Internet which was reliable -- important for my work. The hotel is located outside of the city wall -- great if you are going to places outside of the wall, but bad if you are trying to go inside - plan for traffic.

The best hotel I stayed at in China. The Horizon Club floor is well worth it. Very clean and great service.
