Nice location and service but worth the $?
Used the welcome rewards night to book a $400 suite (bluespruce junior suite, off-season), was upgraded when we arrived to an even more expensive room. The service was 1st class from check in, valet, turn down service, bath amenities, newspaper delivery in the morning, and available room service breakfast pre-order. The location was great also in vail village, close to the stores and restaurants. Valet parking was $20/day which was reasonable considering location. The room was nice, nice large bath tub (not jacuzzi though) with separate shower, separate living room, 2 flat screen tvs, slippers/bathrobes. Would I pay $400+ for the room during off-season? probably not. The room did come with 2 free breakfast buffets (normally $24/person) which was pretty good but pricey if you had to pay. For the price, you could rent a condo and have more room, kitchen and share it with more people.
