Bang central to Reims
On a motorcycle tour of Europe with friends we were on the way back and had already booked this hotel (and saved over half of the walk in price with Hotels.com!). We wanted to see the cathedral and were please that the Mercure was only 5 minutes walk away from it and the main "high Street" with all the bars and eateries. WE didnt chose the breakfast at €16 (bad committee decision!) and instead had breakfast at a motorway services which was jsut as expensive and rubbish! Reims is not a cheap place (where is in the EU these days!!) we paid €8 each for a large beer, it was a nice pint but....!!! Still the Cathedral is certainly worth a visit.

Fine for a couple of nights but bring extra teabags
Hotel was fairly near centre and restaurants (about 10-15 mins walk) but in a more residential area near the river so was reasonably quiet. Staff were helpful and pointed out the free parking at the back of the hotel as well as the chargeable secure parking underneath. We were given a map but there were no other tourist leaflets on display. Modern hotel with nice open bar and restaurant area. We thought the hotels breakfast was very expensive but there was nowhere open nearby as an alternative apart from other hotels. Beds comfy and rooms quite spacious but pack extra teabags - you only get one ordinary teabag per room each day! They were stingy with the loo rolls and the toiletries also.
