Would stay here again
A well renovated hotel. Close to a subway station (with extremely frequent trains) but a little outside of the centre of town. Our room was large and well appointed (though some others are a little small I gather). Service was very good, but continental breakfast a little basic.The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Andrassy Hotel, nice and cozy
This hotel is away from the hustle and bustle but an easy taxi or trolley ride from the river front area. It is next to the Hero Square for nice quiet stroll. The staff and services were just wonderful. They were very attentive adn courteous, looked after our needs. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful - variety of food was great and staff was very nice.

Simply Elegant
This hotel is on the lovely tree-lined Andrassy Boulevard, very close to a metro stop for quick transport to the center of the city, and within walking distance (the opposite direction) of Heroes Square and City Park. It is small, but with a first-class restaurant on site, and features spacious rooms with balconies. Our only complaint was with the bedding -- our king-sized bed was topped with two twin-sized duvets, which were not only too hot for the warm evening, but sort of defeated the purpose of a double bed (i.e., it’s hard to cuddle when the bedding slides off to both sides). However, a call to housekeeping the next morning rectified the situation -- we urge people to specify "American-style" sheets when they make their reservations.
