Hotel Santa Fe a good bargain with simple ammenities

As many previous reviews have stated, this little hotel is a simple jewel in Cabo San Lucas. It’s not fancy, and yes, the beds are AWFULLY firm, but the room had cable TV, A/C, stove, fridge, toaster oven, simple dishes & pots/pans (for long stays, go to the local Costco or larger stores and get an inexpensive eggshell foam mattress pad, then leave it when you go home). My maid was TERRIFIC, & as I spoke Spanish and left a modest tip for her each day, I was treated to anything extra I asked for. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It’s a pretty quiet location, 5-6 blocks from downtown, but there’s bus service out front and taxi’s. Bottled water and basic foods/ necessities were available at the little onsite mini-mart. I never ate at the little on-site cafe, so I can’t give a comment on it. It also had excellent security all night!! Overall, I gotta’ say, though a bit on the "well used" side, it’s a clean, tidy little hotel with everything you need to enjoy a budget minded stay in Cabo San Lucas, so you can keep your $’s for those overpriced Margaritas!!

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Clean, with a kitchenette, and very reasonably priced for the downtown Cabo San Lucas area. A good value for the money, without the frills.
