Middle aged ladies
I stayed here with my friend on recommendation and were very satisfied both with the standard of the hotel and with it’s position. We debated whether to include breakfast in our stay and were very glad that we had, there was a good array of both hot and cold food and was much more relaxing than having to go out looking although we noticed several cafes only doors away from the hotel all serving full english if that is your thing. It was very easy to walk to both the port and to Las Ramblas and also found the metro very easy and safe to use.

Very Cose to the metro
Very close to the metro, right out front. The view from our room was bad, but the staff was very helpful, nice, and spoke english.

Beware of new standard pickpocketing method
While within 15 yards of hotel, we were subjected to what seems to be a standard pickpocketing method in Barcelona: about a cup of soil mixed with water was flung at one of us from behind, at neck level. Then someone tried to approach us, repeating: agua, agua. An indentical event occured two days later elsewhere in Barcelona. One solution: yell at the person saying agua, telling them you know they did it, and keep walking.
