Value for money
We stayed at the Solaria apartments for one night in August on our way through Europe. The apartments are about 15 minute walk from Davos Dorf station, set in a peacesful location. There is a free local bus service to the station should you prefer. The apartment itself was basic but clean with a balcony overlooking the alps. The room had a sofa bed, kitchenette and private bathroom. Reception staff were friendly and loaned us the use of a DVD player and a limited selection of DVDs, a hairdryer, and a Swiss adaptor. We ordered breakfast to our room as we had an early start the next day. Unfortunately we didn’t realise they had left it outside the room until it was too late.
Eating out is expensive in Switzerland so we went to the Spar near the station and had a cozy meal at the apartment.

Excellent value, clean, friendly
A well-designed self catering hotel with friendly and helpful staff within easy walking distance of Davos Dorf railway station and Parssen skiing area.
