Great value!!!!!!!
Hotel is large with private free car park. It was busy, possibly due to having a restaurant, pub style bar and fitness centre on site. Was nervous when I saw that a wedding reception was there as this usually means noise. No problems as we were located on the 2nd floor at the other end of the hotel and never heard a thing. It must be close to the flightpath as the occassional aircraft was heard, but not enough to disturb us. Room was well presented, clean and tidy. Buffet style English breakfast was included and was good with plenty of choice. Only negative was the noisy, vocal wedding guests that had stayed over having breakfast, that meant you couldn’t hear yourself think. Overall a pleasant stay, well worth the money. Would stay again.

good facilities although very noisy
Facilities really good. Consider you are right under flightpath for Manc airport. Plus the noise from the gym studios reverberates through the 100-120 rooms like no ones business.

Excellent out of town hotel
I’ve stayed here many times and always found it lively but not too noisy. It has a very popular leisure suite with gym and pool. I’d certainly use it again.
