Disappointing
Having stayed there several times before, this was a huge disappointment. Most of the hotel was closed, no evening meal and breakfast less than satisfactory. What a shame for a hotel that has provided a brilliant holiday in the past. Guests should have been warned in advance

Nice break for two
Had 7 days with the girlfriend at this hotel. Location is spot on, right on beach and up the end away from all the big hotels. If you want to just get up, have breakfast and hit the beach its perfect. It was very clean and well run. Friendly enough staff. Mostley older folk mind, breakfast is good (fruit, bread, cereals, scrambled eggs bacan sauasages etc) a late bar and a lovely outdoor area for a late drink / early breakfast. 5 min walk to town, ten minuts gets you to the other side of town so no worries there. Only single beds pushed together though with a double sheet over the two. They call this a double so be warned!. Balcony rooms probely better, but we spent all our time on the beach so it did really matter.
Traveller's tip on dining
sun loungers available on the beach with parasols for 12.50 Euros a day. a very secure place, we left our bags and towles to swim and take a boat trip and no problems at all. There are some good places to eat dispite other peoples comments. We didnt have a bad meal all week. The Clipper on the main drag is a nice place and if you have a hunt about round the back of the cobbled street area there is a delightful place with an outdoor Grill to cook the food. All in a spot on beach holiday.
