Great Downtown Hotel, with Great View Too
The Edmonton Marriott did a really great job with our family stay...so great that we actually changed our reservation for the return portion of our trip to stay there again. The room was quite spacious and clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel was in the middle of downtown it was incredibly quiet - much appreciated. Valet parking is $20 per day - roughly comparable to u-park locations surrounding the hotel. Request a room on the river side if possible - the views of the North Saskatchewan River valley, just below the cliff upon which the hotel sits, are really outstanding, and at night you can see quite a bit of the town from your room.

Good Business Hotel
Great business hotel. Central to everything, excellent river valley view. Close to City Hall, the Theatre, and City Centre. I didn’t use the parking, but with all the parking lots around, it’s hard to know whether the hotel provides parking or you are left to fend for yourself. The room was very clean, but the bed was horribly lumpy and hard. I’ve stayed at many other Courtyards and this was by far the worst in bed comfort.
Traveller's tip for business travellers
It’s a little out of the way, but a good recommended steak place would be The Keg, over on the south side of the river. It’s in an area called Whyte Avenue and lots of bars, pubs, and restaurants around there. In my opinion, better value for the money then say, Lux or Ruth Chris.

Outstanding Hotel
This hotel is awesome! Customer service was outstanding and all staff members were helpful and friendly. Great location with a wonderful view. Would love to come back and stay again someday.
