Nice hotel good service and food
We stayed here out of season for a few days and had a great time. Good location for the Broads and the north coast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - try the mixed grill! The cooked breakfast was as good as I have had anywhere!!! Hotel rooms a bit basic but fine. Good value for money.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
We took a boat out for a day from the local boatyard at Stalham Staithe and it was great - relaxing and lovely views

Pleasant night on the Broads
The Wayford Bridge was a convenient stopover en route elsewhere and was what we expected from its rating and description - standard accommodation in a good location on the Broads. The staff were friendly and very efficient. The Inns restaurant had a good choice of evening meals, including Cromer crab and local fish (eaten to the strains of a Dean Martin album on a continuous loop), and the cooked breakfast was very good. The room itself was accessed via a narrow, winding corridor and its decor was tired and uninspiring but the en-suite shower was a good strong one and there was a nice view over the river. The good double glazing meant that the nearby road did not disturb us.
