So so
The person in reception said there were no free parking in Whistler village and that I should use the $15 garage for the hotel. This was not true less than 200 m there were free overnight parking.

Confirm the number of beds in the room when you book
I was looking for a room with at least two beds in it (one could be sofa bed pullout), and the one I saw available was a Deluxe Studio Condo. The description of the room said it either had (1) one queen sofa bed with a queen murphy bed, or (2) one queen sofa bed with bunk beds. I was fine with either of these setups, but when I checked in, the studio they put us in only had one queen bed. The front desk person then said all of the studios only have one queen bed, and that the website description was wrong. They ended up upgrading us to a one bedroom (with two beds), after a long process of the front desk person calling the manager at home, and then me having to negotiate with the manager the next morning on why I shouldnt have to pay an upgrade fee. An additional complaint is that the machine that codes the key cards broke, and we were not able to leave the room after the front desk person let us in with the master key. Overall though, aside from the rough checkin process, the positives are that the one bedroom was clean and spacious, the location is great, and the front desk person was very friendly and helpful.

Great Location, Minimalist Service & Room Quality
For the price, and the location, this was a good value. The front desk service was noticeably absent at times, and given that the location is in a high traffic area there is understandably significant security but without a staffer there this can be a little frustrating with the magnetic card reader to enter / exit the property.
Traveller's tip on dining
For breakfast, if you want the absolutely best and most wonderful breakfast you have had and want it served in style, go to Crepe Montagne right across the street. Dont let a short line deter you, the service is fast and friendly (its not great for large groups-more than 4-people though, as its a small French-style creperie). This was the best breakfast / brunch Ive ever had with the most wonderful (English-speaking French) service in Whistler.
