General Information
What to expect: Guests enter a broad lobby with warm-toned gray and taupe marble floors and, to the side, a wall of cascading water, below which lies a large sculpture of a reclining figure. Directly ahead, steps lead to landscaped grounds dotted with dining and drinking spots, and paths that wind to the beach, where rows of palapa-shaded lounge chairs await.
Amenity highlights: A long freeform pool highlights this resort and is shared with Oasis Cancún’s neighbor, Grand Oasis Cancún. The pool is traversed by three arched wood bridges and is home to three swim-up bars. Seven other bars, along with 12 restaurants and snack bars, are featured, so that every path through the 13-hectare (32-acre) area shared with Grand Oasis Cancún leads to refreshments.
Insider tip: A quiet stroll through the grounds can bring an up-close encounter with one or more peacocks, which flourish their iridescent blue and green feathers before disappearing into the shrubbery. More often, guests hear their distinctive calls across the grounds.

Set on the east side of the island, in Cancún’s Hotel Zone, Oasis Cancún All Inclusive shares 13 hectares (32 acres) of grounds with its companion property, Grand Oasis Cancún. Nichupté Lagoon is across the road. Because this resort lies on either side of Grand Oasis Cancún, the restaurants and bars on each side mirror those on the other. Two identical lobbies also operate, one on each end of the resort.
The size and landscaping of the combined properties make walks popular. Terracotta pots of colorful bougainvillea and flowering plants, shrubs, and trees including narcissus, tulipanes, and banana palms, add a lush feel to the grounds.
Additional amenities include rounds at a nine-hole golf course where greens fees are complimentary for guests, lighted tennis courts, and evening entertainment. Several computers are available with high-speed Internet access (surcharge) and wireless Internet access is available in the lobby areas (surcharge).

Oasis Cancún All-Inclusive resort offers 1,008 guestrooms in two long, white buildings styled after Mayan pyramids. White walls showcase Mexican contemporary art and beds with black, wrought-iron headboards. All rooms have terraces or balconies (some with chairs), and views of the lagoon or garden. No reservations are required; dress code is casual but hotel policy bans bare feet and the wearing of wet clothes at all eating venues except snack bars. A mariachi trio plays Mexican music and strolls from restaurant to restaurant each evening.

Sarape - Tex-Mex specialty restaurant with ŕ la carte lunches and dinners and live Mexican music.
Steakhouse Tunkul - Open for dinner. Serving traditional steak house cuisine with a Caribbean flair.

Guests can enjoy a meandering freeform pool, crossed by three bridges and large enough to host three swim-up bars. Guests can also take advantage of complimentary use of kayaks and paddle boats. Two lighted tennis courts and a nine-hole executive golf course are available. Golf green fees are complimentary but rental of golf equipment incurs surcharges.
One block away at Nichupté Lagoon, AquaWorld, offers a variety of water sports and excursions.
