Wonderful stay at Europa Belfast
This proved to be an ideal choice for a woman travelling alone for personal business in Belfast. The reception and housekeeping staff were so very friendly and helpful and I was given an upgrade. I have often stayed at the Hilton, but Europa is slightly better situated and the beds are, as others report, wonderfully comfortable. The hotel was so quiet at night too. Not being a big breakfast eater, I walked up to Donegall St each morning and had an amazingly good value breakfast in Marks & Spencers 2nd floor cafe. I often dine at Bourbon, right opposite the Europa, as they do a great value pre theatre supper menu (2 courses for £12 before 7.30) and again, it has a safe and comfortable atmosphere for a lone woman diner. The crackling fireside lounge in the hotel foyer was a nice place to meet up with a friend also. Seeing the beautiful City Hall at night, all illuminated, was a thrill. Open top city bus tour from Castle Place is highly recommended (the onboard tour guides are great craicsters). Belfast people are so friendly, helpful and witty. All in all it was an experience I am keen to repeat.

Europa 2009
Wifi charges are absurd in this day and age. Just build it into the price and offer it as a bonus. Otherwise hotel was acceptable.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Park a few blocks away and dont pay for the valet. The guys in valet were great but the expense can be avoided.

The Europa as a very nice hotel and in a very good location.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
The Pubs and restaurants right across the street are great.
