Grand Gateway Hotel

I didn’t want to go home.One night of the best sleep I have had in ages, I wanted more.

From the first moment when I arrived I felt that this was going to be a good night. The front people treated me like a real person. Threw checking in my smile reached both ears from the energy I was getting. I wanted more from them and after getting into my room, I had to go back just to say hello. That was on my way to Cheers of coarse, were the rest of the night had me dancing the night away. The music the people and the drinks. All in all I went to my room and enjoyed a very comfortable nights sleep. The next day, I thought hot tube and water. I will say again. I didn’t want to go home.

Loved our stay

Though Rapid City isn’t a huge city this hotel was in a very convenient location. The front desk staff are extremely polite and helpful. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. My daughters loved the pool and the big slide. The pillows are divine and bless them they have tooth brushes and tooth paste on request. The only problem we had with service was with the attached Perkins restaurant. We had to wait much longer than is polite or expected for the server to come for our drink order let alone our food order. The restaurant was not busy while we were there and there appeared to be plenty of waitstaff. Overall I highly recommend this establishment for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Convenient location with an attached restaurant and a gas station next door and very close to the mall. Nice sized pool with a large slide and enough tables at the end of the pool for birthday parties. Elevators at either end of the corridors. Extra towels, tooth brushes and tooth paste on request and no extra charge.
