typical budget london hotel
This hotel is a poor renovation of an old building. It is not expensive and if that is what you are looking for, then it works as a place to get some sleep but it is a tired building, tiny rooms, warren-like layout and simply does the job of providing a bed for a night.

Good value hotel
Very nice - exactly what you’d expect. I booked holiday inn as I just needed a place to crash for one night in London and got exactly what I was looking for - decent bed, clean comfortable room, breakfast, simple efficient check in/out. great value for money. Will use again on a weekend away. Good location next to Pimlico tube station too.
