Acceptable if good rate
Room was dated, but decent size and the bathroom was above average with full counter and walk-in shower. Maid service was satisfactory and the front desk clerk was cordial. My curtains did not fully cover the window and to open the windows would have caused too much noise to come in. I would not stay here in the summer. Also, I had a problem with security. The door to the hotel was left open until quite late and as the rooms were on lower floors than the reception desk, someone could come in and wander the hallways. Even at night, I was buzzed in without having to show any identification.

Average Stay
I had a single room and, for the rate I paid, thought it was acceptable. The decor was dated and the curtain did not fully cover the window. As my room faced onto the Ku’daam, it could be a problem for light sleepers. Also, I don’t believe I would choose this hotel in the summer as it has no air-conditioning and leaving the windows open would make the room too noisy. I also did not like that the rooms were on a lower floor than reception because of security. The door to the hotel was only locked after hours and anyone could just walk in and start walking the hallways. I had no problems, but it was a concern. The bathroom was quite roomy and maid service was efficient. However, a decent stay, but would only stay again outside of winter and with a good rate.

very good place to stay
located in the old west berlin,excellent place to stay,near main shopping area and modern setting.hotel rooms very clean and up to date,also quiet,good shower ect. good value for money.downside,found it hard to located late night bars,but found one eventually!
