Acceptable for Celle yet nothing special
The hotel seems to be a bit out-of-date; of course it looks like a standard Tryp hotel (they seem to be the same all over the world); however if you take a closer look, you will find many spots on the floor; it looks a bit worn-out. Yet, it is quite remote from busy roads, so sleep is quite ok. Distance to train station approx.. 1,5 km. Distance to city centre: approx. 3 km

Good quality for business
Clean hotel, quite location. Nothing fancy. Good business hotel. Breakfast was extra, but was a good value.

Hotel wanted to charge an extra sixteen Euros for providing Tea and Coffee making facilities in room
Generally the hotel was fine, however my family and I had a business class room but which didn’t contain any tea/coffee making facilities. When I first enquired I managed to get a kettle and some cups plus sachets of coffee/suger brought to the room and we managed to get a small jug of milk from the kitchen. However on returning to our room after being out for the day these had all been removed and when I then enquired at reception, I was told that these items would be extra and would cost 16 Euros. I was astounded. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and in every one there has been some form of facility for making oneself a cup of tea or coffee. This simple facility is generally provided as a courtesy but not it seems at the Hotel Tryp. For this reason, I would not recommend the hotel for other guests to use neither will I be returning to it on my next trip to Germany
Hotel is two miles from town centre. Limited Bus service into Celle. Buses stop in either direction by 19:30 each evening.
