More like a large motel
We were upset with the hotel and so were other guests. THe hotel is under never ending renovation. Slow elevators, noisy construction, smelly rooms. We couldnt stay beyond the 2 days we had booked and transferred to another hotel nearby. They over billed us provided us with service which was quite ordinary. Stay if you cant afford other nearby hotels

Its a nice City in Other Hotel
The room is comfortaple but the service is so bad in the reception only.

2 Star at best
We saw this hotel on Expedia and expected a 4 star accommodation. We booked 2rooms for 2nights. After 15 minutes we had to go for a walk (the mold in the halls and the rooms were that bad). Being American Expats in India we have travelled extensively in South Asia and know the kind of hotels that are available for what we spent. We walked in to the Shangri-la next door and found that it was indeed a real 5 start establishment. We upgraded to this resort (paying a significant difference) arranged for our bags to be transferred and had a lovely time there.

Forget this place and researve the Shangri-La Ras Sayand Resort and Spa! Its worth ever cent more.
