A bit out of the way
The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were very helpful. The food is a bit on the expensive side so we only ate at the hotel once. I would definitely recommend eating out. The main problem with the hotel is the distance from the centre. It is a good 10 minute walk to the metro. We didn’t use the shuttle bus service so can’t comment on that. I was lucky to have my Russian girlfriend with me which made using the metro a lot easier!
Traveller's tip on dining
Try La Cantina on Tverskaya Ulitsa. Excellent food and live entertainment from 9pm. Get there early though as it gets full from around 8pm.

Clean and quiet
I found the hotel to be quite comfortable. The service was quite good and there is a selection of restaurants on premises. It looks like the hotel was recently renovated. The room was very comfortable and clean. Overall, very European feel to the hotel.
