Hilton Knoxville, TN Airport Review=GREAT

What a great place to stay. Clean, good food, friendly staff. I did not explore the surrounding neighborhood. I felt safe at this property. The convenience of the location is rated past a 5! Very refreshing. I will stay here if travel to Knoxville, TN requires a hotel stay. I won’t look any further than the Hilton.

Friendly Hotel

The hotel was very nice and all the employees in the restaurant and bar were extremely friendly. We chose the Hilton because we wanted to have dinner and drinks instead of driving around town looking for something and we were very pleased with our decision.

Best Airport Hotel

Best airport hotel! One can walk to it (no waiting for the hotel shuttle). Was able to get full salad meal in the bar at 10:00 pm after arrival. WiFi in room had easy access. Went back for lunch during return flight layover. Only suggestion? Offer Wi Fi in lobby to restaurant patrons for small fee (or free) as airport WiFi not easily accessed.

Exceeded all expectations

I was traveling with my two young children. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Coopers Restaurant was convenient and child oriented. Airport was walking distance. Perfect experience.

Very nice stay, great service.

nice, very close to the Airport - 100 yards under a covered walkway, great food, very happy with my stay. Great fried green tomatoes at the inside restaurant.

A fine hotel

Although I stayed only one night in order to catch an early flight the next morning, I have to say that this is one of the nicer hotels in which I’ve stayed in quite awhile. Everything about it seemed to be of exceptionally high quality. A very clean room, prompt room service, good food from the restaurant, and the hotel is only a short walk from the airport. I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

Great airport hotel

Very convienent place to stay if you have an early morning flight the following day. Clean hotel with good amenities. Breakfast buffet was beautiful, delicious, and very reasonably priced (less than $15) -- much cheaper than Chicago O’Hare’s Hilton’s breakfast menu!

Traveller's tip

My only complaint...when checking in at the front desk, I was asked if I wanted a credit/debit card swiped to pre-pay any incidentals. I asked if any hold would be placed on the card. The employee said not that she knew of, and so I handed her my debit card. When I checked my bank account online a few days later, a $50 hold was placed on the card for almost a week. I called the hotel and an employee said that’s normal policy.

The cocktail bar had a wonderful staff. There was an older gentleman bartender who was truly a credit to your hotel

The most convenient stay near TYS!

A short walk to Tyson Field makes this hotel a must for those early morning flights out of Knoxville. Hotel parking is usually free and convenient for 3-5 day trips. The only shortcoming is bad microwave bar food once the kitchen closes...

The most relaxed I felt for a long time.

I enjoyed my 20 hour wait for my daughter to come to the Knoxville Airport. The location is convienient, the room was very relaxing and I enjoyed the Crabtee and Evelyn soaps. Breakfast in the morning was great. I would come back if I needed to stay in the Knoxville area.

Easy walk to Knoxville airport

Since flights out of knoxville are slim late at night, it worked well to stay at the Hilton TYS the night before my early-morning departure. Breakfast was good (and inexpensive compared to big cities), and it was a 100foot covered walk to the airport.

Convenience at its best!

This hotel was extremely convienent. It has an outdoor walkway to the airport and considering it’s so close, it was VERY quiet. The computer in the lobby was very nice for checking in to flights, although there is wireless in the rooms. I will definetly choose to stay here again if need be!

Great stay

More expensive than other hotels in the immediate area--but no better

I chose the Hilton Knoxville (airport) because it was the most expensive hotel in the area, so I thought it would be the nicest hotel in the Alcoa/Maryville area. It was not. It cost around 70$ per night more, and I did not get that back in niceties. Except for the lobby and the lobby bar, the hotel was dingy, and parts of it smelled funny (especially the pool area...I think something died in there?). The room was no more than ’okay’ (except for the bathroom, which was run-down and needed some fixture replaced), and sadly, it was no better than the Holiday Inn down the road (*** I had a friend traveling with me who opted to save money and stay at the Holiday Inn. Her room was equivalent to mine at the Hilton, except for the price). Two positive notes: (1) the staff at the Hilton was friendly and helpful. (2) this hotel is an easy, convenient walk from the airport.

If in Alcoa/Maryville, Tennessee during the early Fall, check out the John Sevier Tennis Courts in Maryville.

A PLeasant Surprise

We were pleasantly surprised here. Everything was quite nice here, including the food. The only drawback was the loudness of our next door neighbor’s tv. We could hear them watching (the Olympics) late into the night and very early on Saturday morning.

Ultra convenient to Knoxville airport

We had a 6 am flight so stayed at the Hilton the night before...it was literally a 60 second walk to the airport terminal. Nice hotel and helpful staff, only beef was the very soft bed. I would return to this Hilton.

Great hotel, easy access to airport, saves parking expense at airport

Have stayed here several times when we have an early flight out and have never been disappointed in the room and the service. Able to park in their lot and saves on parking fees at airport.

Extra Mile

Great hotel, easy access to airport! Someone in my party had an allergy to down and they stripped the room and held it down free until out midnight check in. Great service, nice hotel.

slightly disappointed

Though the beds and bedding were awesome, the maid service was not good at all. The attendant, as they are called, did not wipe off the tables, or replentish the soaps etc. Also, the bathroom was not user friendly at all, with a hand bar in a bad area.
