Good location
Have stayed here several times and it’s always been OK. This time we arrived just after noon and check-in time is 2pm. The woman on reception made no attempt to see if there were any rooms ready, but immediately said "check-in time is not until 2pm". Still they stored our luggage and when we went back just after 2 our rooms were ready.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The Golden Round Trip up Mount Pilatus - a boat, then an incredibly steep cog railway to the top with amazing views if it’s clear, and then a series of cable cars down is fantastic and really easy to do - get tickets from the boat stations.
