Clean and inexpensive.
Stayed at the Salem LaQuinta for the second time. Service is good and the room was clean and modern. Would stay again.

Nice hotel
Everything in Blacksburg was booked so we stayed in Salem. Only half hour from VT. Recently constructed hotel. Very clean with nice breakfast.

Old but comfortable
This hotel has been renovated and the pillowtop mattresses are great. The building however is old and looks like it when you are in the room and the bathroom. It is comfortable not great. Breakfast is good waffles and some hot foods. The location is good next to highway and close to town for a change of scenery.
