Railroad
Unfortunately this hotel is right next to the railroad. The train went through several times during the night disrupting my daughter’s sleep, but not mine.

Singularly underwhelmed
The room, despite having a reservation, was sweltering upon check-in, the sink was broken, and the manager didn’t seem terribly inclined to have it fixed. There was one restaurant open in the whole town; it too was shabby, indifferent and unpleasant.

Not plush but clean and convenient
The outside of the hotel won’t win any beauty contests but it is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. We think it is a great value and very convenient. It will continue to be our place to stay when traveling through Van Horn.
