Conveniently located near Kings Cross Station
Holiday Inn Kings Cross/Bloomsbury was conveniently located- a ten minute walk from Kings Cross Station. I would not have been comfortable walking from the station to the hotel after dark. The room was clean and reasonably priced (for London). The staff was not always helpful (when I was checking in, I was told that the I would need to come back later to have a second room key made.) Internet access was quite expensive.

basic not so good located
elevators out of order, rooms ok decent, distant from everything only bus no subway close, breakfast good if taking the full one.
beware because our reservation said full breakfast but the hotel received a continental breakfast. the manager helped out, but we lost some time here.
