Close to the Bellver castle but not much else to set it aside
This is a refurbished 60s hotel - generally fairly comfortable but noise insulation isn’t great in either the walls or the double glazing. The location is convenient for a walk up to the castle,for the nightlife on the Paseo Maritimo without being on top of it, and for the bus service to the Fundacion Miro’s gallery at However, it is a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the wall of Old Palma and a further ten minutes from the Cathedral, so depending on your willingness to walk you may end up getting a lot of cabs. I was very disappointed that not only had the outdoor pool been closed in early October, but the indoor pool has also been drained giving none of the advertised swimming options.

Would use again
Accommodation was lovely. We had a view over the front terrace. Very clean and tidy. We had clean towels everyday and the room was cleaned and beds made. Very surprised as we were only there for 4 days and 3 nights, but not complaining. Location good, taxi rank 1 minute from the hotel and we were approx 10 minutes from the centre of Palma. We were not there long enough to master the buses although we did get a bus to the hotel, simples. We did not eat any meals at the hotel we were room only and decided to go out for breakfast etc. Staff were very welcoming on our arrival and departure. It is used by Air Berlin crew also. A quiet hotel, suited us fine and the air worked. Beds were clean and comfortable, complimentary shower/bath gel, handwash and shower cap.
Great value for money for a quick get away. Buses ran regularly, only cost 1.25 euros on the bus into Palma or 4.50 to 5 euros one way in taxi. Approx 10 mins away, so easier on the pocket if you want to be a little further out. Excellent bars and restaurants approx 10 to 15 minutes walk, to the mariner.

Great location for the Port and good value for money
Stayed here 15-18 June 09. Its a comfortable hotel with a nice bar area, good breakfast and the rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The pool lets it down a bit - it doesnt open until 11am and is closed on Sundays and its not particularly attractive so if you fancied an afternoon by the pool as we did, its better to go to the beach. Overall though it was good value for money. I’d go back for the same price.
The Number 3 bus stops just near the hotel. Take it to the end of the line (15 mins) to beautiful Illetes beach - a pretty little upmarket cove with massages, a nice restaurant, limited water sports and beautiful views.
