Downtown Bergen, Norway
Great hotel in downtown Bergen, Norway. Very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Bergen. Bergen and Norway in general are not inexpensive. So, Holberg is a good deal. Great restaurant -- Chillis -- in hotel building. Had a great meal there.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
Hit the ice cream bar next to the fish market in the main square. Go there in the evening. You can savor wonderful ice cream while watching the motorcycles park right outside the bar. Many Harleys in Bergen. Fine looking women too strutting around.

Very confortable room
The room was very clean quiet and the bed was very confortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in a nice location.
This hotel is in a nice area of Bergen - close enough to walk to most things, while being out of the way enough to be quieter. Good selection at breakfast, nice decor in the rooms. But they do need to work on the "stay longer on Sunday" option - don’t have all the room keys deactivate at noon if you’re letting everyone check out at noon. :-) A minor problem at an otherwise good hotel.
