Great location

Nice hotel, great location but definitely over-priced! Try the Belle Vue hotel which is also in the old port area. It has a great bar as well.

Blandly modern but comfortable and ideally placed

by Vieux Port, and its metro. There are older and more character-full establishments close by.

For those interested in the arts/architecture try not to miss: 1) La Cité Radieuse, Le Corbusier’s Unité d’habitation 2) La Vieille Charité, a brilliant conversion to a range of artr galleries/museums 3) The new dockside development at 10 Place de la Joliette P.S. La Marinière, next door to the hotel, does a variety of brilliant - and inexpensive - bouillabaisses.

Great place - would book again

Great room. Recently refurbished hotel and although the reception didn’t inspire me much when we got th eroom I was very impressed. The room was as good if not better than a hotel we stayed at a couple of days later just across the port (for almost double the money)!

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Chez Toi around the corner was a great find of a restaurant!
