Not 4 Star...
The following negative points of the hotel; 1. Strange smell throughout the hotel 2. Our room (528) had a leaky bath or toilet - had to put towels down in that area to soak up the water 3. Bathroom had a strange smell so the fan had to be left on to help elliminate this "odar" 4. Reception did not have a local knowledge of what was on. 5. Wrong information was given with regards to local public transport timetable...even after asking checking twice. The following positve points of the hotel; 1. Great pool 2. Great location- shopping and to the beach- 6min walk to beach 3. Good size room 4. Good value 5. Good selection of welcome bathroom goodies 6. Good Breakfast options

Great location for Puerto Banus
This is a great hotel in an ideal location if you want to visit Puerto Banus - within easy walking distance but away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the port. There is a great atmosphere in the hotel - particularly outside above the pool area in the evenings when people are relaxing with a drink before or after dinner. Buffet breakfast is quite good, with an extensive choice. Service at reception was mixed - some staff very friendly and helpful, others not so much. The TV in our room didn’t work and despite assurances that they would send someone up "straight away" to investigate, this never happened. Rooms are well appointed but not very large (especially if there are two people).
La Taberna del Pintxo in Puerto Banus is fantastic for tapas/pintxos. It is located opposite the entrance to El Corte Ingles. Delicious food which is inexpensive. Good and quick service. Staff walk through the restaurant offering you choice of tapas or you can choose from the menu. Great for a snack or full meal. Lovely wines too.
