Bad customer Service
I wasnt really impressed with this hotel, ,although the facilities were very nice, i cant say the same about the customer service. Although we were promised an early checking when we booked the hotel, we were only able to check in after 4 hours in one of the rooms and after 12 hours for the other. The executive sweets are overrated and the lounge is usually empty and charges for internet access so its not worth paying the extra money for it.

Good place, very friendly and professional staff.
Rooftop pool has a spectacular view! Service at the hotel was superb!!
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Get a map when you arrive. Lots of attractions nearby, but few are within close walking distance. Beirut has almost no traffic lights, so walking is a hazard anyway. Get some advice on good restaurants, clubs and bars. You will not find the most chic places without some local assistance.

Great hotel in the heart of west Beirut
We stayed a week in this hotel and found it an excellent place to stay and a wonderful base to explore Beirut and Lebanon. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms very nice indeed. The hotel is a couple of blocks north of Rue Hamra, which really is the heart of west Beirut. Loads of great restaurants and a comfortable walk from downtown. We also organised through Expedia (once youve booked, the day trips are offered as optional extras along with car hire, etc) two day trips out of Beirut, to Baalbek and the Bekka Valley and to Sidon and Tyre. Brilliant - highly recommended. Do go. Think about reading Robert Fisks book Pity the Nation while you are there to make sense of the crazy history of this beautiful nation.
