Good quality hotel just outisde town but good for temple visits
This is one of a chain of hotels which has good quality rooms with very good service and in itself is a small complex with a river running through the perimeter, several restaurants in the complex a nice gift shop and always taxis at the entrance. We chose the lowest grade room and it was small as most Japanese chain are, If you want a larger room then go for the Hilton or Marriott type. But very nice for a 2 night stay to see the temples. Plenty of restaurants close by and a 15 min walj to downtown or take a bus for 200 yen one way.
the biggest and best temple is literally next door to the hotel.
