Perect Tonic on a busy schedule

We stayed at the Lodge on our way around Rajasthan during the summer off-season. As a result, the hotel was nearly empty but the food and service offered was of a really high standard and it made for a really comfortable stay, especially after the hassle and hectic pace of Delhi and Agra. Would certainly recommend.

Would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing stay

The hotel was lovely, very clean, relaxed and friendly. The pool was a bonus in the heat and although all meals are buffet style the food was of a very high standard and changed every day. Excellent location for anyone wanting to go into the tiger reserve.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

The tiger reserve is worth the visit but if you would prefer a jeep to yourselves (instead of an open bus sitting 20) then book in advance either through the hotel or directly with the tiger office.

Overpriced

For a high end hotel the breakfast buffet was poor and included instant coffee.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

For your safari into Ranthambhore Tiger reserve try and book 2 or 4 seater cars otherwise you will end up in 20 seater trucks.
