Before I went on this holiday I had broken my foot. But the hotel was suppose to be disability friendly, so I hoped not too much of a problem. They put us in a room that you had to walk up 04 steps then along a corridor then a lift to the room. The lift was not working so I then had to climb 02 flight of stairs on crutches. They finally moved us two days in to our holiday, they said this room was a disabled room, there was nothing different except it had a handle on the bath. There was lots of steps to get to the pool could not use the pool toilets as you had to climb down a flight of stairs. Not possible for me to get to the beach as too many steps. Limmasol is not a place to visit if you are disabled, most bars toilets are all upstaris. The hotel service sometimes was poor they seemed to be more interested in the function they had going on. This hotel is suppose to be 4 *star they need to update their rooms as the most you would give is a 3 *star. If you are disabled please do not use this hotel as it is not wheelchair friendly.

The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very good standard. The staff were really friendly and the facilities excellent. We would certainly go back

There are a lot of good bars and restaurants in the old town and along the strip well worth an evening visit.

Superb hotel, shame about the area.

We found this superb hotel via Expedia. Greats rooms although ensure you book sea view or you will just be looking at a busy road! Lovely pool with staff that could not be more helpfull. Recommend the hotel/grounds as a place purely for relaxation, but probably wouldn’t go back to Larnaca itself again.

Hire car is a must as there isn’t a lot to do in the immediate area.

What a wonderful resort!!!

My college-aged daughter and I spent three nights at the Med Beach Hotel at the end of October. The hotel was clean, the service was very good, the amenities were way more than adequate, and the view from our room was lovely. The location was great for walking to nearby restaurants and the walking path along the beach was a great place to get some exercise and take in the sights.

Best hotel that I’ve stayed at in Cyprus

Myself and my partner spent a week in Cyprus in May 08. This was my 5th visit to the island. If I return to Cyprus this is the hotel where I’ll return to. Need I say more!

from the continental breakfast to the beach, all was Top class.

Very good hotel,excellent views from rear overlooking several swimming pools & beach.Try to stay at rear of hotel as there is a busy road at the front.Breakfast buffet style & has plenty of choice quality very good.The staff are very helpfull & try there best to make you welcome. Overall this is a hotel you will return to.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Definately hire a car & see more of the island. The Calladonion waterfall in the Troddos mountains is still little known & is a pleasant & cool walk away from the bustle of the tourist resorts.Have a drink after the walk at the troat farm at the entrance to the waterfall,you can even have a cooked troat excellent

A beautiful and friendly place

This hotel is right on the beach and with a choice of two very clean pools for those who don’t like sand. The staff are very friendly and always on hand to assist you. The hotel has well maintained grounds, gardens and terraces where you can take your early evening cocktail. The buffet style breakfast was not the best I ever experienced but acceptable. The rooms although small and the bathrooms a tiny bit tired are clean with very comfortable beds and all have a private balcony. On the whole good value and the staff do make the difference.

Cyprus has a long and very rich history. The ancient sights really are worth a visit. Pafos is a must and a lovely place for lunch with many choices of establishment around the scenic and ancient harbour. We had the hotel arrange a persoanl guide for the day. It made all of the differnce as her academic background as well as local knowledge provided an excellent tour.

Counting the days until we return!

Hotel and rooms are very modern and spotlessly clean. Staff at the pool side bar are very friendly, beautiful pool, is a stones throw away from the beach.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

The Hamlet pub (5 minutes walk down the road)is a must - modestos the owner and all of the bar staff are warm and welcoming. A great place to start (and end; if you dont want to go into town) the night!
