Care-Free Fun!

I loved every second of this vacation. People were nice all around the resort, everything was clean, service was great, and bartenders were very entertaining and were great at remembering faces and drinks - Daily activities, shows, and spa promotions. Food was great, and plenty - full five course meals that left you in a food coma. The longest we ever had to wait for a table was twenty mins or so, but it didn’t matter because there’s a bar right in the lobby with a nice outside club/lounge feel that made time pass quickly and it really easy to meet people. This was our first time to Punta Cana, and I would be afraid to try another resort when we come back because of how great of a time we had here. I don’t think it would compare! Stop by the pool for a free intro to scuba - the instructors are a blast :)

Make sure to walk down to the beach when it gets dark out. The view changes so much in the moonlight, and the steady breeze makes the moment sureal.

Loved it!

This was our best vacation yet. My husband and I paid a little extra for the Preferred Club, and it was completely worth it. Lots of extra perks, like having a better room, extra dining options, extra alcohol options, free internet use, etc. The beach was absolutely amazing, and the weather was perfect. The first couple of days there was quite a bit of seaweed in the water, but the last few days we were there the tide must have changed because it was crystal clear. We had a photo session with the resort’s photographers. Our pictures are wonderful and we are trying to figure out which one to include in this year’s Christmas card. Definitely worth it. The room was really nice. Sometimes services took awhile, but I think that’s just because in the Dominican Republic they aren’t as fast paced as we are in the US. Our only real complaint about the room was that our mini-fridge wasn’t very cold, and that wasn’t a very big deal. This was a wonderful place to relax. Just make sure to reapply the sunscreen because we sure did get burned! People scared us about going to the Dominican Republic, but we felt 100% safe the entire time. There were even police regularly patrolling the beach.

I know we risked a Hurricane going in late October, and thank goodness there wasn’t one, but the weather was perfect the entire time we were there. I spoke to someone who lived there, and she says in the summer it is very hot. While we were there it was 87 degrees every day. Perfect. Just keep this in mind if you decide to go in the summer.

Paradise

Dreams-Palm Beach was perfect for my boyfriend and me. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was nothing short of amazing. I would return here in a second. the buffets were ok, the restaurants were great.
