great family resort

Had fun very clean, very nice room. Only about 15 min to Disney world. I would stay again and I would recommend Liki Tiki as a great deal for the price.

Disappointed bu would still go back

I love the Like Tiki. A little disappointed this time around but it wouldn’t stop me from returning. My only suggestion is that if you have to call maintenance for a water problem then I think it would be good customer service to go back a day or 2 later to see if all has been corrected.

Great, safe, fun choice in Orlando area

We enjoyed our stay at Liki Tiki! The location was ideal - a block away from the busy main thoroughfare so it was quiet and safe, but still quite close to restaurants and even a SuperTarget. The staff was very accomodating and quickly brought any items we needed. They also easily extended our stay by an extra day with no dispute on the discout price. The only disappointments were the poor continental breakfast (we ate in our unit instead) and the time share sales pitch, which we declined to attend.

Great place, but a time share

Fair warning, the centrally located pool is open until midnight and yelling kids & adults WILL be using the pool and keeping you up! We were very disappointed to find out this was a timeshare resort. We had no idea prior to arrival. Although the facilities were great and clean, we wish were adequately informed ahead of time that at arrival we would be "forced" to go through a timeshare pitch. After a long day of travel, we really just wanted our room key and a place to eat.

Adventure at Tiki Liki

At first the property seemed dark and uninviting. However, as I became oriented, it was managable and safe. The facilities are a bit old, but the room was fantastic and spacious. I would have preferred a mirror in the master bedroom and at least a morning worth of complimentary coffee condiments. However, for the price, it was great and I would recommend to families and those who wish to buy groceries and save. The food was not good at Shipwreck Sallie’s. It was awful. A car is a must with this location. The security was very good.

Great Place to Stay - Did not like Check In Practice

This was a great place to stay. The frustration I have is that when we checked in they sent us over to the tourist desk to get our parking pass. This of course was the individual that tries to get you to go to the timeshare presentation. She was very high pressure and got our deposit out of us for the gift we would get for going to the timeshare. She kind of made us feel like she was holding our parking pass until we agreed to the timeshare. After signing up we heard from another family at the resort how bad of an experience the presentation was. We decided not to risk it and so lost our deposit. Other than that we were really happy with our stay.

Will Be back!!!

Liki Tiki was a great place to stay with kids. There are so many activities for them to do and the Water park area was awesome. The rooms were very large and had two double beds in the 2nd bedroom. Having a full size kitchen was great we were able to have a quick bite to eat in the morning before going to the amusment parks. Much larger then what the picture shows. Was very please with this resort. I will definatly recommend to friends and family.

Miss the Liki Tiki already!!

The resort was beautiful as expected. We had stayed there before and believe that the wonderful condominum style room that you get is great especially for the price! We had a 2 BR condo and it was perfect for us and our 3 children. It had a completely stocked kitchen and 2 bathrooms (jacuzzi tub in the main bathroom). The staff was very courteous and helpful. We also loved the Lagoon pool area. It was like having a water park right next door! Great way to unwind after a long day at the theme parks. Even though this hotel is off the beaten path, it is perfectly located so that you are just outside the hustle bustle of the theme park areas and just close enough for a 15 minute drive to the park when you are ready to go back. We love the Liki Tiki and will go back whenever we visit Florida!

We loved it!

We were extremely happy with the Liki Tiki. The suite was spacious, clean and well-kept. We had a nice-sized kitchen and full-sized washer/dryer. The master bedroom had a soaking tub with jets. We loved the peddle boats (although a number of them were out of commission), the mini-golf was nice (not fancy, but still fun) and the waterpark and pools were awesome! The location was great. The kids had a great time and we would definitely stay there again.

Really nice place to stay

We got in late due to plane delays and finally arrived at Liki Tiki around 11:00 p.m. The staff greeted us and were very friendly. Got to our room (2 bedroom) and was amazed at the size of it. TV’s everywhere, a full kitchen, etc. The room was clean but the housekeeper had missed some areas like the kitchen counter, which had something sticky on it and the kitchen table. All in all, it wasn’t bad. A couple of small complaints was the water pressure in the shower was terrible and there were these small bugs everywhere. I think that is typical for Florida and I don’t know if spraying more often would help or not. Liki Tiki offered all kinds of things for children to do during the day but we didn’t take advantage of them due to going to the theme parks. The weather was cold while we were there but the heated pool was warm enough to swim in. All in all, it was a very good experience and we will stay there again the next time we take our grandchildren to Florida. I felt it was an excellent value. Also, shopping was very close.

info and service lacking...they nickle & dime you....

this was a time share ,,, they wanted to pitch you in order for you to get any discounts and information. we did not have a service directory in the room ... had to ask. they charged you for everything, soap... shampoo... laundry soap... did not explain when you checked in. contential breakfat was too late and very sparce.

Great except for timeshare promotion

We chose this because it was a little further out but less expensive and also had a "waterpark" attached. The waterpark was minimal, but nice, and there were other amenities such as miniature golf and paddleboats. We really liked having a separate bedroom so the boys could be on the foldout couch, and we could sleep in separate spaces. Having a kitchen was great too. We were offered a $200 discount on our Disney World tickets if we listened to their timeshare spiel for supposedly 90 minutes. We agreed. But it turned into 2 1/2 hours on a beautiful day, and there’s something shady going on because they would not let us take any literature with numbers on it out of the building, and there was no opportunity to consider their offers and get back to them. They were all about making a sale on that day. In retrospect, it was a mistake. Otherwise, except for the slight inconvenience of being about half an hour from the parks, it was a great place to stay.

A great saty for the family-alot to do, and alot of comfort

from the girls at the reception to the spacious rooms the saty was amazing this is our 2nd year in a row, next year will be 3

Good Hotel. Will go back.

Very nice hotel, good location, awesome activities at the hotel. Rooms were OK, kitchen had everything needed and was handy. We enjoyed the water slides, mini golf, pedal boat and bikes - that was fun for the whole family.

Very Satisfied...

We booked the Liki Tiki during Thanksgiving week and I found it to be an ideal place for our vacation... It’s great especially if you have small children because they have a mini water park that the kids will love!!! They also have other activities on a daily basis as well as a playground, mini golf and tennis courts. There really is something for everyone to do. When we booked online we reserved 2 separate units and I found both of them to be extremely clean and well maintained. The dish washer and washer/dryer was very useful. Overall we had a pleasant stay I would definately go back and suggest this place to others. The staff was great upon arrival and departure so please dont be misled ot turned off by the negative comments.

Very close to Walmart and Target for grocery shopping but a rental car is a must

Stayed four times, can’t wait to stay for the fifth time!

Liki Tiki is about 10 miles from the Orlando airport. Very convenient to all fast food places and WDW. The resort has three pools and this time we overlooked the children’s pools (there are three together) which is also right by the bar and Shipwreck Sally’s restaurant! What we like is the balcony, large livingroom, diningroom, kitchen, washer & dryer right in the unit. The master bedroom has a huge king bed and jacuzzi tub and the smaller bedroom had two queen size beds. They have daily activites if you choose not to go anywhere - maid service is optional. They provide you with plenty of towels and kitchen stuff - we just really like it. My daughter & a friend went last March because she had stayed with us two years ago. It is one of the first places we check for availability and price when planning our trip to Florida.

Great for families - but still quiet

Likki Tiki worked out extremely well for my family of 6. I have a 12 year old, 11 year old, 8 year old, and 5 year old. The 2 bedroom with full kitchen fit our family perfectly. It was clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with the staff. Lifeguards at the lagoon were outstanding in performing their job. Likki Tikki made the time fun with karaoke, different contests for kids, etc. Likki Tikki is off a side road from Rt. 192 so there is a definite sense of seclusion compared to other hotels and resorts directly on Rt. 192. I can’t say enough about the management, overall layout, and atmosphere at Likki Tikki. It worked really well as a home base but also play place for our family’s big trip to Disney World.

It was okay.

They put us on the 5th floor, very far away from the front lobby and pools. Hard for my 82 year old mom to get around. The pool is fun for kids and has very attentive lifeguards.

We went to Universal the first week of November and rode everything with little to no waiting in line. Houlihans has "kids eat free." Five of us (3 adults) ate dinner and had wine cheaper than we ate burgers at Universal for lunch!

Fantastic Accomodation

This was our second stay at Liki Tiki Village. The accomodation did not disappoint. The apartment was enormous, very clean and very well kitted out. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The resort is very close to the Disney theme parks and about 15-20 minutes away from the Universal Parks. There are some good restaurants within a few minutes drive away. We would definately stay here again or recommend it to friends.

just ok...

the sheets didnt fit the bed and there was a wet spot and stain on the bed when we arrived at almost midnight - how long ago did they clean and the spot on the bed was still wet - and what was it? the fridge shelf cracked when we put sodas on it and the rail on the door fell off when we used the door shelf. there was no turntable in the microwave so i couldnt even make micro popcorn :( the pool area/waterpark was older but probably the nicest part of the resort. my brother was in the adjoining room and had several problems with their room as well. it was reasonable priced but you get what you pay for - ive definately gotten better values in Orlando.

We will return

Conviently located to restrauants, shopping and the theme parks. We loved the 2 bedroom condo. It was perfect for the childern and they loved to pools and slides!

Well kept secret in Orlando!!

We went for a family trip and encountered a very friendly, weel organized hotel. Security personall are great as well as housekeepiing. Some observations: Telephone system needs to be updated as phones inside the room were not working. Breakfast needs some improvements! Premises are well taken care of and location is great too. KEEP THE GOOD SPIRIT!!!!

WONDERFUL water park!

Fantastic water park literally in our backyard! It had a very fast slide for adults, older kids, 4 small kiddie slides, volleyball net, and a wave pool. In fact, the kids enjoyed it so much we cut our day short at Disney - because it was so hot and crowded - to make it back to the condo to play!

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Disneyworld parks 5 minutes away - very convenient!

Very nice

We stayed whlie we were visitng Orlando. We were very impressed with it. It is very close to Disney and not too far away from Univarsal and other attractions. The staffs are courtious and rooms were clean and as described. We only booked a one bedroom, and even with two kids we were very comfortable. Kitchen is decent size, the living Room Bed and Bath are very specious. Attached Patio is just the right size. Over all we were impressed and will recomand any one who cosidering staying at the Liki Tiki Village

Will definately return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Liki Tiki Village. We stayed in a high rise villa which was very comfortable and most importantly, clean. Everything we could possibly need was there e.g. washing machine, tumble drier, microwave etc. It was a really pretty place to stay and we made good use of the swimming pools and hot tub. We also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to go back to Orlando and we would definately go back to Liki Tiki Village.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

Liki Tiki Village had a swimming pool with water flumes and a more quieter swimming pool with a hot tub which was open until midnight. Paddle boats and bikes were also available. A major supermarket was just round the corner and we were only a twenty minute drive from Disney World and a 35 minute drive from International Drive.
