Reasonably priced
Though this hotel is in a quiet residential area, the tube stop "Les Tres Torres" is within walking distance and only takes a few minutes to get to Placa Catalunya (the city centre). The hotel has both smoking and non-smoking rooms both equally clean and so it caters for all.

A single ticket on the tube costs 1.35 euros per person or you can opt for a one-day travel card for 5.80 euros per person

ok hotel out of the way
Quiet cheap for Barcelona, clean but a little Spartan. A big room with minimal furnitue. Far from the city centre which was my main gripe. Set in a surburban neighbourhood with little to offer.
