Great Location, but maintenance problems
Great location, views, and neighborhood. However, the rooms need to be redone, as they are old and need maintenance. For example, there are two entry doors. When the balcony door was opened, and the we opened the front door, leaving the inside door open, the wind slammed it shut, locking one member inside. We had to get maintenance up to get her out, and maintenance had to climb over the balcony in order to get in to work on the door. Fun bar, pool, and deck, though. Value was great.

easter break 08
this was the only available hotel on the town of ayios nikolaos as we booked this 1 week holiday for myself and partner in march when we had an early easter this year. the hotel met all our needs in terms of comfort, cleanliness, hotel staff were very friendly, you had a choice of the outdoor pool, restaurant -espeically the buffet of morning, afternoon and evening in which you can eat whatever you wanted. hotel was very close to bars and restaurants,best to hire out a car to get around other places of the island, or do tour trips if you happen to visit in the summer. on my next trip to ayios nikolaos will definatley stay at the hermes.

Very Impressed
We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Extremely good value for our money. Whilst the hotel needs updating in places, it certainly makes up for it in all other ways. Very good atmosphere and made to feel very much at home. Thanks Hermes!!
