Would certainly use this hotel again.

Reception Staff were very welcoming, although they were busy and apologised for the wait. Room was excellent with a very comfortable king size bed. Breakfast was excellent again Staff very polite and helpful. Well done The Marriott.

Off the M25 and we were there, excellent position, for when I want to stay with family again.

Not impressed

Having arrived after the specified check in time 14.00 we were greeted with long queues at reception, only 1 receptionist and many others milling around reception whose rooms were not ready. Eventually a second person came onto reception. Having finally got to the reception desk there was no apology for being kept waiting 20 minutes. We were told that our rooms were not ready and when this was queried just told they were busy and had been full. As a customer this is not my problem and they need to make sure that they are employing enough staff to meet demand. Others in the queue and waiting were part of a wedding party and needed their rooms to get changed. We were lucky and not on a timescale! There did not seem to be any organisation surrounding reception. We had prepaid for 2 rooms but when we were given the invoice the room cost had been charged so they had to re do the bills and had another wait. This could be a nice hotel if they had efficient friendly staff however the reception staff didn’t seem to care. I noticed a note to staff on reception whch read "how many times have you used the customers name" sad to say not at all in the time I queued to anyone!

Not impressed with room service food and don’t believe the breakfast guarantee!e

Evening room service - burnt toast on the BLT, poor burger, soggy chips and there’s a £5 tray charge! Breakfast served late & without cutlery - promise of "if we don’t serve breakfast on time, it’s on us" not honoured plus the £5 tray charge! Manager wouldn’t come out to discuss complaint.
