Good value, great facilities

We were generally impressed by this relatively new hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The dining area was spacious, unlike so many hotels which offer a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast itself was average. The pool area was fantastic with a wonderful area for small children and a great hot tub for the adults. However, each time we returned to our room, one of us had a key which would not open our door. On three occasions, neither key would open the door. Each time we had to have our keys re-done, the staff was apologetic but could offer no real explanation for the problem, other than the possibility that our cell phone could have been near the key to cause it to be de-magnetized. We felt this could not be the cause in our situation. No compensation was offered, but I did contact the general manager (who was on vacation during our weekend stay) the following week and she sent us a coupon for a complimentary night at their location. We have family in the area and will be visiting there again, so we accepted. Overall, our impressions of the hotel were favorable and we felt that our concerns were heard.

Traveller's tip on dining

Ballydoyle Irish Restaurant in downtown Aurora is a unique restaurant with good food and a fine wait-staff.

Great Hotel

The hotel was wonderful. My son especially enjoyed the children’s pool with the slide, dumping buckets and fountains. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable.
