Fantastic if youre going to Disney
I recently stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for 2 nights. The hotel staff were particularly friendly and always on hand to deal with any request we had. The receptionists were extremely helpful and if it wasnt for them we would have been lost a million times! All the staff speak good english and are very polite and willing to help you out with anything. The hotel is in a perfect location for anyone going to disney as its only a 2 minute walk from the station and then a simple 10 minute trip on the RER (2 Stops) that puts you right into disney. Its not really the place you want to go to if your just planning to go to paris as although its not a million miles away its still not really close enough. We planned it so we arrived early in the Gare du Nord so we could spend the whole day going round paris looking at Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, etc. Before checking in later. The hotel also has a luggage room which came in very handy on the last day as we spent the day in disney. Bussy Saint George covers everything you could possibly need in terms of pharmacies, bakeries, etc. Also the tv was only in french but who really cares about the tv when your in paris? Wonderful stay and would certainly do it again! Ps. If your having trouble finding Bussy Saint George on the RER map its at the end of the RER A (red line) and 2 stops before the end of it (Marne La Valee - Disneyland). Also, you should be able to see the hotel from the exit of the Bussy Saint George station..
A major plus about the area of Bussy Saint George is that it has everything you could possibly ask for in a hotel that youre only really sleeping in. There is a carrefour a small 2 minute walk from the hotel that covers all the food you really need. Although we paid for one of the hotel breakfasts we wanted to save a bit of money the next day so bought some biscotts, cheese spread, crisps, etc. The only downfall with trying to do this is that there isnt a fridge in your room (atleast there wasnt any in ours..) and so be careful with what you buy. Bread and simple spreads are probably your best options. If its not "french" enough for you then there is a bakery next to the station that does nice baguettes, etc.

Great base for Disneyland Paris
Stayed here for 2 nights - Family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids. Found hotel very conveniently situated near the RER Station (2 stops from Disneyland Paris - 7 mins journey time - approx 3.5 euros per person for return tickets). Quite comfortable. Good daily cleaning service - change of towels and bed sheets. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Would definitely recommend it.
There is a nice bakery (boulangerie) nearby which sells wonderful breads and pastries. Great for loading up for Disney trip (Food there is v. expensive). Good pizza/pasta place (Pizza di Roma) nearby. A couple of Chinese and Lebanese takeouts. Other than that, not much choice for eating places...

Good value
This is a great hotel for those with families and on a budget. It is very clean and relatively spacious. Bussy St Georges is quiet and feels safe even at night. If you dont want the hotel breakfast there is a great boulangerie opposite the RER station. The RER station is about two minutes walk and you can get to centre of Paris in about 30 minutes and Eurodisney in 10 minutes. All in all we enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the choice of hotel.
If staying between 5-7 days consider buying a Navigo pass (valid monday to Sunday) or if arriving midweek buy a viste Paris pass instead. If you have kids always get the visite Paris pass as there are no discounts on the navigo for kids.
