Good value for money
Very good service. Hotel next to a homeless shelter but we didnt experience any problems and people were very friendly. Walking distance to main attractions/shopping areas. Construction ongoing at convention centre and some of our party facing that side of the hotel were woken at 6 am on Saturday!

Should be rated a 4 star hotel!
I dont know where to start. Quite simply the best located hotel for the price given. However, it all depends on what you want. The Hampton Inn is a block away from Chinatown where you can get a $20 return ticket to New York! Many takeaways nearby that actually deliver to the hotel (the hotel has some of their menus to hand!)If you prefer the classier side of things, Broad Street shopping and Macys is a quick 20 minute walk away with a plethora of restuarants to choose from. My only critism is the hotels breakfast. It is complimentary, however its not exactly tourist friendly. Food such as biscuits are served with patty like sausage which is alien to a Non-American and doesnt look the most appetising. I found myself sleeping through breakfast and would end up having lunch at the Reading Terminal Market (cheesesteak heaven!!!) Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of free services the hotel provides and the members of staff are extremely friendly. I have never been treated so nicely in my life! All thumbs, fingers and toes up!
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Stay here if you dont want to spend a 1000 pounds for a weeks holiday per person. Go to Reading Terminal Market and have cheesesteaks. More than anything I encourage the $20 round trips to New York, its only 2 hours and the tickets can be used anytime.
