Great value, location is next to underground
This was a very nice hotel located in Mitte, central Berlin. It was very easy to get around the city from this hotel, with the underground station just across the street. The rooms were very clean, a little on the small side, but a reasonable price for the value. Hotel staff was very good and helped us with things such as calling for a taxi and giving us local information. I had read some post that were not so good but I was very satisfied with the quality and location of this hotel.
Berlin Underground is a must- they have tours in many languages that take you to underground bunkers below Berlin. The tour is 90 minutes for 9 euros, great tour!

Superb quality for price
I paid a very low price per night for this hotel, which is less than 1 minute walk from an U-bahn stop, but in a very quiet part of North Mitte and right by a canal, so expected it to be fairly grungy. It vastly exceeded expectations, and I would rush to stay there again at this price. Ostensibly 4* (according to the door), but probably closer to 3.5*. However, for comfort, quiet and cleanliness it could not be beaten. It does not have the range of services a 4* would normally offer in an international city, but with all of Berlin on the door step who cares?

Small but adequate
The hotel, for a capital city hotel was nice, the rooms were comfey, the size of the rooms was a little small, but hey your not going to spend time in your hotel room. The facilities at the hotel like sauna and steam room were at the hotel over the road, and were very nice. remember that on the continent they are less shy about going naked!
