Great Location
The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful park across the street and easy cab rides to the historical center of Quito. Hotel staff are very helpful in finding tours and the best tour options for various out of town excursions. If you don’t speak Spanish Quito is still a very navigable city and the hotel staff will find english speaking guides and taxi drivers for you. Over all a great city and a great hotel!

not impressed
1st room was too noisy due to banquet/party going on below (we started on the 8th floor) and we had to be moved at 11:30pm. 2nd room was quiet (14th floor but other side) but terribly stinky due to it being a smoking despite request for NON SMOKING. Moved a 3rd time on second day and the room was finally okay. Other problems: Pool closed for construction--no notice until arrival. Internet access NOT free to guests--this hotel charged for EVERYTHING!!! We should have stayed at a different hotel for the amount we paid.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Consider a different hotel. Considering this is a high end hotel, it felt like we were nickel and dimed to death, not to mention had to be moved 3 times in 2 days.
