NOT A 4 Star Hotel
Air Conditioning in room was very inadequate. I would rate the Tryp Hotel maybe a 2 star. Bathroom floor dirty. One small towel in Bathroom. Room service was fast with additional towels. Room was very noise. Lot of young people outside partying all night.

Clean and Modern
Tryp was great. The location was convenient - right next to a metro. It was short walk to La Rambla. We also walked to the beach (about 20 minutes). Staff was professional and several spoke multiple languages. The breakfast spread was pretty impressive as well. I have no complaints, but preferred some of the smaller, more personal hotels we experienced while in Spain.
