Spectacular holiday
I recently took my husband to Jackson Hole for his birthday. The Wort Hotel was the perfect accommodation for us. It was right in the middle of Jackson within walking distance to everything. Much to our surprise, we were upgraded to a lovely suite. We loved the western decor. The bar/restaurant was outstanding. There was a rockabilly band on Fr/Sat night. We met the friendliest locals. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. We also can recommend The Bunnery for breakfast and Bubba’s Barbeque for dinner. The Tetons are only a few short minutes away and the Wildlife Museum is worth a look. Overall, one of our best holidays and we’ll be returning to The Wort next year.
We rented bikes from "Edge" and rode through The Grand Tetons National Park. It’s surprisingly flat and a great way to see the park. We did rent a car through Thrifty in Jackson. It was much cheaper than choosing the Expedia add-on option. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport via their shuttle - very convenient and friendly service.

A Nice Treat
This hotel is a bit expensive, but very conveniently located with a nice ambiance.
Taxi from the airport iw quite expensive.

This was one the the best hotels we have ever stayed in....cozy, warm, comfortable, nice staff, helpful and friendly...hotel restaurant/bar was wonderful too!! as were the waitstaff in restaurants.
