Nice little hotel

At very short notice they went out of their way to convert single to double for me when fully booked; nice bar, not ultra-modern but cosy; very friendly helpful staff... a good stay.

Satisfactory

On a recent business trip to Norwich I stayed at the Best Western "George" Hotel. It is a Victorian Hotel and everything was satisfactory and staff were always on hand an helpful. It was a good location, easy to get in and out of the city from there. My only slight complaint was that as it was an older building the floors in the section I stayed had noisy floorboards. A great idea to prevent buglars but a bit annoying.

Traveller's tip on dining

Pedros Mexican restaurant situated in Chapelfield Gardens. Bring your appetite and don’t be afraid to ask for a doggy bag.

average hotel but beware noisy air conditioning units!

we arrived early evening, our allocated room was next to a very noisy air conditioning unit, the receptionist would not move us to another room as she said it was turned off at 9 pm. (if it was still on after this time she said we could change rooms)we felt that this was unacceptable as the hotel was not full - lots of room in the car park and at the breakfast tables next morning. The noise was loud enough to distract my husband from doing some work that evening.
