family friendly great service
we went on a weekend break to visit potsdam and berlin zoo. the hotel was quiet as it was late july. the facilities were great and the staff friendly. they allow 2 extra beds, which is great when travelling with kids and breakfast was free for kids. They have bike hire to go around potsdam. swimming pool was fun and clean. staff very friendly breakfast choice excellent. a very enjoyable stay- hope to return

train into berlin is easy. use the trams and buses. hiring a bicycle in potsdam is a good idea. eating out in potsdam - lots of choice. great ice cream shops

Great Hotel Out of City
Being in Potsdam, the hotel is slightly awkward to get to from the city’s airports. However, if you are comfortable using Berlin’s very reliable transport infrastructure, then this doesn’t pose too much of a problem. Getting to Potsdam is simple - via buses and trains - but the journey from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof is 30mins walk, or a 10minute bus or tram ride with a short walk. The hotel itself is kept to a very high standard and the rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff are more than willing to help and all staff spoke fluent English. The leisure facilities were also impeccable. The location is perfect to visit the sights of Potsdam, and if you don’t mind the 30minute train journey to Berlin (trains every 10minutes), then it’s perfect to see Berlin too. All in all, highly recommended!
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you’re planning to see the sights of Berlin as well as Potsdam, then buy a weekly travel pass for zones ABC from the transport office in the airport. This means you can jump on any bus, tram or train within the zones and not worry about getting a ticket beforehand.
