Nice hotel, great prices

For the price the Warwick is a great deal. I love the balconies and proximity to everywhere I needed to go. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay again if in Denver.

Ideal location

The Warwick was terrific. It was within a 10-minute walk of The Capitol and The US Mint (skip the Mint, I implore you), less than 10 minutes to the 16th Street Mall, 20 minute walk to Coors Field, and a 45-50 minute walk to Invesco Field. The place is in terrific shape and the service was top-notch with several young, attractive female guest services reps...if you care to know such things. Quality restaurant (Steuben’s) and a TERRIFIC sports bar (The Tavern Uptown) 2 blocks away. The liquor store is right next to The Tavern. Plenty of on-street parking (meters run M-F, 9-6:30) if you’re going to be in your car most of the day and therefore don’t want to bother with the $24/day valet parking service. Business center in the lobby with 2 PCs and 2 printers was all you’d really need. Honestly can’t think of a bad thing to say. If the price is right, do it, you won’t regret it.

If you’re in town for a Broncos game and don’t want to deal with driving, parking, or shelling out $ to travel less than 3 miles, as long as you’re in mediocre condition (i.e. walk without aids or gasping for breath every few blocks) don’t let anyone scare you off of walking to Invesco. You can make it from The Warwick to Invesco in 50 minutes tops toting a case of beer and dressed in winter clothing. Tip #2: SKIP the US Mint Tour. It’s brief, unilluminating, and would most likely bore even the most ardent coin enthusiast to tears. You see basically no coin making in action either. For SERIOUS, SERIOUS numismatists only (if you don’t know what that means, this is not for you, trust me).

Service Needs Improving

I paid a lot to be in the middle of nowhere because it was down the street from a conference I was attending. Don’t ask the staff for locations or directions, I tried twice and couldn’t get the location of the nearest full service Starbucks or whether I go right or left to walk half a block to my conference! They charge per day for parking (would have been nice to know this in advance) and there’s no coffee shop on premises nor is there one within walking distance (unless you think 1 mile is walking distance). All in all, not worth the price.
