Decent Hotel
The location is very convenient, though the immediate neighborhood is a little bit shaky. The overnight parking is too expensive. The room was nice, but the help certainly did not bend over backwards to be of service.

Great stay for the money
All the other hotels in the downtown area of Seattle were priced at least $50- higher. For the money this was a bargain. This is a nice place, with a very nice restaurant & bar. It an update, but for the price I cant complain. The staff was adequetly helpful, just shy of being standoffish & a bit rude. But no matter, the room was clean & quiet. This hotel is just a short walk from Pikes Place Market (a must do) and the Space Needle. I highly recommend going to the Science Fiction & Music Museum. Even if your not a Sci-Fi fan, its quite impressive with all the original robots from famous movies & memoribilia. The music museum is also great. Check it out. For lots of fun the Pub Crawl tour at Pikes Brewery on First Ave. is great. You get a walking tour of many pubs in the area & a history of Seattle. The tour finishes at Kells Irish Pub, which is fab. Loved the live Irish music. For food, if you want to eat really cheap go to the food court at the downtown mall. For really good food, I recommend the Pink Door. Its directly across the way from Kells Irish Pub. There is no sign to indicate its a restaurant, just a Pink Door. The food is Italian & fabulous, but pricey. On Sundays & Mondays, they have live trapeze artists flying about above your head. RSVPs are recommended.
