Very nice Deluxe Suite (upgraded)
We booked a Standard Studio Suite via Expedia. Because it was a cool weekend in early October, the hotel had lots of open rooms, so they upgraded us at no extra charge. We didnt even have to ask, they did it right when we checked in! It was a real treat because the Deluxe Studio Suite has a lot of space and a jet tub for two. The room is a like a small studio apartment, with an entry hall and big closet (good for ski season), nice galley kitchen and a dining area. Though the bathroom is tiny and very basic, it is functional and clean. Overall the room is a bit dated, but well kept and nearly spotless. The fireplace is a nice touch and really heats the room! The hotel is on the edge of the village. It is an easy walk to stores and restaurants. Its a bit more of a trek to the base area for skiers and bikers. For our low price and free upgrade, this hotel was absolutely unbeatable.
Traveller's tip on dining
Elements, a Spanish tapas restaurant, is just around the corner and very good. Try the muscles!

Stayed here multiple times
This is a great hotel, a little off the beaten path, which makes it very quiet in the evenings. Its very close to everything and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Would stay again
Our room was fine. Esthetically the carpet could do with being repaired - rather raggy at the patio door area. Perhaps a tiled area at the door would be more servicable
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The hotel is convenient to all attractions at Whistler. I believe it has an advantage of being on the perimimeter of the main village stroll area. It was quiet.
